At Cancom we've got about 20 copies left in the warehouse and most of the stores are sold out. :/
Edit - Ok maybe not.. 50 in each store at last stock update (but none left in warehouse).
Grr having second thoughts now, not because of cost but just can't decide.
The usual 3.5" slash or get a twin 182 rep... Argh! lol. I s'pose I could just get some tailpipes and make one up myself but a full SS system would be much better...
Really love these exhaust... does anyone know a rough price on how much it would be to have one made up? Would I be better finding a local exhaust place or take a trip to one we get discount at/order one from k-tec..
Matt.
Get another cat. Probably cheaper doing it that way than having someone fabricate a decat pipe.
Each to their own ;) A majority of 1.2 owners want a new exhaust...
£220 won't be for a decat, that would be for a system.
Decat would cost anywhere between £40 and £70 I would have thought. I've done what f0xy done.. smashed the insides. Took about 10 minutes to get absolutely everything out and then whack it back on. Simples. :)
Hi, I'm Matt and I'm 19. My car is technically modded (induction kit, exhaust, colour coding, stripped interior, ICE, etc) and I have insurance. Done.
Sorry, couldn't help it.
I agree it is very nice, but will any potential buyers see it that way? Surely someone after a 1.2 will be a new...
Regardless, modified insurance for young drivers IS obtainable (I'm proof as are many others on here/everywhere).
Sure, in a lot of cases the price goes up but that depends on what the mods are and if you have money to spend on mods, you more often than not have the money to spend on the insurance.
Bit louder, sounds nicer and a few little pops. Performance wise can't say I've noticed a difference. But if you want a nice sounding 1.2 then yeah go for it.
Would you get the same money for it standard as with those mods on?
Surely you could get more selling parts seperately and I'm sure they wouldn't be hard to shift (make sure you PM me if you do! lol).
Random question - what colour is it?
It sucks cool air through the gaps where the keys are so there is air flow through the laptop :)
50'c seems about right for a CPU.
Good choice with the MBP by the way :)
Busted lol :o
Lol I did several times but only in the bedroom, it landed on nice soft stuff ;)
But like I said in the post up there - no damage :)
Edit - details..
First one was dropped constantly near the time I got the 2nd as I wanted the 2nd so much and needed a reason, then I broke it by...
When it's not so busy in our showroom I'll take a look at the ones in there for you. CPU temp does rise quickly and depending on what you're doing they can stay pretty hot so it's probably not something to be too worried about. Does seem a little high though.. maybe just let it sit for a while...
Can't say which case as I hate them, but stay away from rubber ones as they get stuck in your pocket and takes forever to get your phone out.
There are skins available that simply wrap around the phone. No visual difference (well, a bit more shiny) and offers scratch protection (unless you want...
It's been released now and is available.
We have 350 copies due in on Thursday so depending on what time they arrive we may have them available to take away from Guildford shop same day and all other branches on Friday.
http://www.cancomuk.com BTW - currently updating the website to show new...
We sell them here and had a few in the office to play around with. Medium sized one seemed ok but we only had D40's in the office to test them with.
Can't say what they're like outside in windy conditions, etc.
Seriously lol.. I see a light and think "Sh*t what have I done?" then realise what it is. :P
It might not come on at all, it might come in every 10 miles after resetting. It's completely random for everyone AFAIK.
Well the rear of the car is stripped anyway so it's all of :P
Yeah it shuts fine and stays shut just doesn't even try to lock :s
Checked all fuses and had a look at the mech but cant see anything wrong.
Edit - Searching around apparently it's quite common and will need a new locking mech.
Just went out to my car and was playing around with it whilst on the phone and noticed that my boot wasn't locked. Last couple days I noticed that when locking it didn't sound as loud and it turns out it's because only my doors are locking.
Anyone know what to check? Guessing a link somewhere...
