Just normal cheap clear silicone from Travis Perkins or the like. Don't worry about the temperature effecting it, it will never get near hot enough to degrade it. Ive used it on my vee with no problems, a 700bhp hot rod, a Mk5 Golf R32, an S5....all with out problems.
Looks pretty pointless to be honest. Notice how the wing moves to give the inside wheel more grip. Surely it'd be a better idea doing it to the outside one with more load on it???
I should think you've made his day asking that! lol He looked ages for something reno related. When its up to the same standards as his previouse Black Gold he ought to change it to C1EAN or something lol
Me and my brother see you all lined up in tesco but not in my vee. Just a crappy little red van lol Good turn out considering the weather. Did I see an intercooler on one of them? Didn't get a chance to say hello unfortunatly.
The car of the day for me was the Lemon Yellow Volvo 850R.
Fair enough, things are down to personal taste etc etc but a vee is in the same looks department as CTR's???? Get a grip fella!! Ok, Ph1's like mine aren't quite so fresh to look at from the front as they used to be but the Ph2 V6 is still as good to look at now as it was a few years back.
To...
Rep or not, thats a nice looking car regardless. Nice to see someone using a bit of good taste to modify their 1.2 aswell. I'd imagine it makes a cracking run around seeing that it'd use next to no fuel, has low road tax and is cheap to insure.
Oh no, don't get me wrong fella I do drive mine on and off track but if I want to go racing i use my track car. Was at Bruntingthorp last week with the RAOC.
I give you your do, alot of vee owners do just potter about in their vees and clean them at every opportunity. That is because they get...
This thread is piss funny!!!
At the end of the day, regarding the first post. NO.....the Clio V6 isn't that bad to drive at all. And all c**k suckers who think they know about how a car drives before they even have the bollox to give one a good royal ragging should be shot....like the chap who...
Im not sure about the 20vt being quicker or not but im damn sure of one thing and that is that in the real world there is near on bugger all difference in straight line performance between ph1 and ph2 vees as Guillaume and a few other owners will know.
Fair play for owning a Ph1 vee...good choice!!!! What I dont understand though, is why are you asking what can be done to make you Rep look better?? Surely if you have a real one you should know pretty much exactly what needs to be done to look decent?
Sorry, I thought they were refereing to another blog about the Dragon Rally car where the owner modified the front end and made the wheel base longer to help handling.
Reviews like that come from idots who have never drove one lol. Ive got a Ph1 and its by no means an Elise but I find it bloody great. I was at Bruntingthorpe this thursday putting a friends through its paces on a damp track and it stuck like sh1t to blanket. Like Porsches, there are ways of...
To be fair, the heat in the engine bay doesn't make the engine weeker in anyway. The rad for instance is situated at the front of the car and the collector pipe and silencer is behind the rear subframe and out of the engine bay so the engine has no excuse for running hot. When going anywhere...
Funny this. Me and 4 other mates went to the Nurburgring last weekend in a brand new Rangerover Sport and to say it pissed many other cars off was an understatement. In a straight line from 20mph upwards its nearly as quick as a Mk5 Golf R32. As for the cornering we never even got near to its...
