You lose dogmeat when you get captured anyway, so I wouldnt worry to much! Tho I do miss the little sod :(

I think I found the blueprints the other day, up near the Enclave base entrance (Raven Rock?). Theres a power relay place south west of it, with a dead corpse next to one of the big transformers. He had the blue prints, among other things next to him. Not sure if it was the dart gun blueprints...

You change the HT leads and coil pack at the same time. Remove the coil pack, unplug the HT leads and replace with the new pack and leads.. Only a 5 minute job.
