i think if you want a performance car, for the future, with the Tax, petrol prices etc, people need to start thinking small and light. Elise's, Exige, Caterhams etc are the future of affordable performance motoring in my opinion!

compbrakes are too long, standard goodridge kit for a 1*2 is too short. i doubt they will be able to turn a set around within a week, tho you never know.

yup, just buy a set of manual winder mechanisms, and swap them over for the electric ones. 5 bolts in total, easy job.

nice, remember seeing it at FCS a few yers back with the green wheels. Tho... if 4 pots are over kill on a 1*2 (according to you) what does it make them on a 1.2?? (or 1.4 or whatever it was?!?) lol!! :D

maybe cos they are lighter, better balanced and stronger than stock items. plus gives you options for the future, if you chose to run wilder cams at higher rpm etc, rather than chosing to do so, then have to rip the engine apart for new rods. Called forward planning. i am sure he wasnt at...

yeah. only available through Mark Fish. usually carries a few in stock. great bit of kit, as they allow you to keep full interior in place.

hard to compare really, as so different. the misano's were a vast improvement over the standard 182 cup seats, but then they dont hold u in as well as the Evolutions. i love being strapped in to the Evo's, as you dont have to worry about moving around, you just get on and concentrate on...

how would the car drive? as i thought one of the advantages of the cable ITB setup is improved throttle response.

Burp - can run any tyre, as long as its a TOYO! (and not slicks). the track was drying pretty quickly, so didnt bother changing my tyres over, just ran the 888's... which was fun!
