Looking into getting one of these for the car

Are they a direct replacement for the standard one (just swap it over) or what is needed to fit one...
First do the easy checks, look around check the wheels aren't catching something, look for signs of rubbing
If not jack the front up and put some weight on the wheels & watch your mounts.
First set of solid mounts I had were replaced under warranty as the bearings had seized up and made noises...
I'm in the same boat, had a pair of 20mm spacers on for about 20mins a long time ago but don't think I fitted them properly lol the noise on the way home was awful :o
I had a bit of this too, smell was only occasional though as it ran down above the starter.
Mine was seeping out of the back of the breather and dripping down the back of the engine.
Got as much off as I could and gave it a good clean, went for a drive yesterday and checked the car today when...
Just replied to your Project thread on that lol - place outside Dungannon is where I go.
The small bits on my car I've done myself (time consuming though as I'm a fussy ba*tard :o
Bigger bits like bumpers I'm guessing? Any decent place will most likely want the car there to do them :)
Sorry about late reply mate - I've always used Lesley Mc Cammon on the other side of Dungannon for my bodywork (the car before you start thinking of cracking jokes) ;)
Very good work, perfect match etc :)
OZ Racing, in Silver - a bit like the Ph1 172 wheel but slightly different in the centre and studs on the lip :)
I was going to get them refurbed but changed my mind, just need them for a 2 days when I get my current ones repainted lol
^ That's another reason I haven't touched it yet lol anyone have a diagram with the sequence? :)
All seems fine now as said on the phone was just a bit confuddled by the odd bolt on the breather and the same bolt being the loose one
It came out easier than the rest, and tightened up easier but...
If I'd seen this post 20 mins ago I would of got you one as I just put the engine back together.
Didn't touch any of the rocker bolts for now until I find out what the torque settings are.
I just gave it a good clean and took the breather plate off but the gasket is fine - had 1 of the bolts...
No sarcasm always wins these situations ;)
Drop a few flyers over HIS car and hint "I'm guessing you got a stealth exhaust and a maxogen fitted to yours, where you get your inlets matched, what do you think of the RS Tuner or the Whiteline ARB?
ANY of this will work :star:
Yeah I heard that was thinking silicone too lol
Is it easy to take it off Fred and will the Wynns gasket do the same job? :)
And as above will sealing the rocker bolts "hide" any problems?
Kept a closer eye on mine over the last fortnight now, checked it last night after topping up about a week ago and all seems well.
Got the inlet off last night for a closer look and a good clean, had some oil around the top of 2 of the plugs near 2 of the rocker cover bolts
but most of the oil...
Have my inlet off at the moment to find where I have oil seeping from, cleaned the rocker last night but its a ballache to get crap out of the "nooks n crannys"
Used Muc-Off and some rags to get most of it cleaned up
Will Bilberry wheel cleaner be strong enough to clean the engine before...
Yeah I've done a few shots for mates birthdays and things like that for a few drinks in return, which is all good and builds the experience/gets the word out lol
This time I was asked to put a price on these though
