a good point was made her mates why cant we go back to renault and say they have false advertising i have a mk2 172 broichure in front of me and it clearly states 172bhp!!! not ps!!! they should be done for this surely!!!!!!!!!!111

mine did that mate and the cat was shot had a new one fitted thank god it was under warranty from the garage i got it from otherwise would have cost in excess of 500

guys if you change the cambelt i.e piper cam or something does this need doing or not cheers

hi mate gordon lamb quoted me nearly 500 for the full cambelt change etc plus obviously the service on top .............quality eh?????????? does anyone know how much the parts are for a job like this is it just labour that makes it expensive...if you had new cams fitted would you need this...

would a 182 manifold sports cat and ktec system be a good set up for sound quality reliability and bhp increase cheers that would cost nearly 1000 bloody hell!!!

cheers guys thanks for that i thought it was the janspeed one i have also heard the exhausts are a bit pants so is it 5% of everything then? that is probably why his prices are hi so our discount does not affect his profits he he only joking

hi guys sorry to say this but why is ktec so expensive it seems to me that there price before vat is what you would elsewhere then they add 17.5% on i have never used ktec but of course have heard great things about them through this forum but just wondered why they are so expensive do they...

cheers mate thanks for that i was mulling over a viper but defo not getting one now for the money it seems the results are not confirmed 100% as being positive or negative so i may go the hillpower route as he knows his stuff the itg would be amazing but the price is so very steap!!!!!!!!!

sorry to start this thread again but do they make a typhoon for the mk2 172 as i thought they only did one for the mk1? plus how does hill powers induction kit fair with the above cheers
