mine used to do this (fair enough its petrol not diesel so maybe not the same issue). i used to use cheap supermarket petrol (tesco) and it did it when cold - ive started using maxol and shell and its stopped even when its cold.. its a bit strange but thats what sorted it for me. adam.

ok after talking to shorty_irl we seem to have a few differences in our locking system.. both 2008 mk3's mine a 1.2 tce shortys a 1.4 when i push the lock button of my keyfob the car 'single' locks.. when i push it twice the dead locks come on.. on shortys if he pushs it once the dead locks...

if you use t-cut just don't rub it to hard. if its a very light scratches sand it down with 2000+ grit wet and dry VERY LIGHTLY - then if any of your friends has a udm/pc get them to come round and polish it.

can you not just take the PAS fuse out or is it not a separate fuse?

i found build 7056 is alot more stable than build 7000 but i still cant play games on any build im suspecting the gfx card drives as they are still in beta too

sneeks is beta 7068 much better than 7056?

can get a 360 with 40k mile for £12k id rather save the extra even if there was two or three owners. the amount youd spend on tyres would be a killer. ive already bougth 6 sets in 26k on a 1.2 clio :p
