iirc, my mate tried ringing ktec about an adapter plate, and they don't provide them individually, you'll have to buy an induction kit off them and the adapter plate will come with it. Don't quote me on this, but i think this may be the case.

I'm afraid, yes this is true. And adapter plate like this is needed. If you had the later version 1.2 16v then the 90 degree bend will fit straight into the throttle body, and the BMC on the other end of it. But for the engine model you have, you will need a adapter plate.... yes it will...

Agreed... never knew what color goes well with my kind of silver, only thought dark colors go with the color. But yellow does look good!

How old are you? I think you should've kept them standard silver, looked far better and the finish looked better too! But each to their own. Good effort.
