Can you not; Right Click>Graphics Options>Out Puts> In there you should have options such as Monitor, Monitor & TV, TV, Extended. I pressume they're both plugged in by VGA connections are they or is 1 DVI ?

Rain/clouds etc all effect the signal strength - if your signal on a normal day is a tad touchy i'd recommend getting the external ant'. Tinted - heated - cracked - dirty - aid infested...if your windscreen is any of them it will affect it!
