Glad you had a good time and comments re speed on the road is so true all my non trackday mates drive like idiots compared to thos ethat do them!
Like you say tuition is well worth it especially a technical track like Cadwell, I can wait to get back there next month!
How did the tyres hold out?
Cadwell is a great circuit and can easily catch you out in the damp, luckily should be dry for you though..
All I would say is watch out for overheating the brakes on it as not too difficult to do on the 500's on track..
In all honesty I didn't really rate the S-drives on the road let alone track compared to Conti's, PE2's or even the Rainpsort2's i'm running now, but hey everyone has different opinions and different driving styles which suit some setups better than others :cool:
Personally after having used a proper track tyre I will never go back unless it's a wet day.. Performance road tyres are all well and good when pushed hard on the road but ultimately are always lacking when taken upto track temperatures as the simply the tread patterns are wrong and the...

Also as he says track tyres so wouldn't put s-drives in the list tbh (and yes I have had them in that size and used them on a track)
