I can't remember offhand, but what I do remember is Dan@SJM shredding the aux belt at Combe, cutting it off, and I'm pretty sure he had to keep stopping to prevent the engine from overheating whilst getting it back. May be wrong.

And be careful of temperature too, but yeah, possible.

This. To clarify my earlier post, you still have to notify your own insurer, but you claim off of the third party insurer.

I went to my insurance company. Took over a year to sort out. Go straight to the 3rd party.

That was my plan. I can probably afford a hybrid 980ti or an aircooled 1080.

AlanWak autosolos a Clio, very well in fact, so I'd recommend having a look at his thread for some pointers on setup etc. I autosolo too, but I use an MX5 (and the Volvo, as per avatar, lol). It's great fun, 20x 40 second runs in a day for £20, I'm off sprinting this weekend, will get 4-5 40...

No real need for AA at 4k, but I'm after a fairly solid 60fps.

True, but I never got to enjoy them in the first place.

It was quite sad to see the immaculate Ph2 interior taken out, and the holes drilled in the wings for those rubber band things, and so on.

Fcukabout, it's gone downhill since I owned it. Everything I did electrically was double crimped and taped. In fact I redid some stuff which wasn't up to my standards. There was no evidence of rust apart from inside the bootlid when I owned it too (and a couple of bits in the engine bay...

Well said. They're as near as makes no difference designing and building an entire car from the ground up.
