ah thats wot mine does that! when its cold it revs to bout 3k the splutters on a cold start!

tried that put each end has a stopper at the end and wouldnt fit through the casing! im not sayin u dont know how neva did!

its all done now, had to take out the arch linin and cut the heat foam then unplug the grommet! a new throttle cable comes in all the casing so u cant take it out and thread it through the old one!
