Yeah without actually seeing it I'd guess it was that. I'd get a different clamp to renaults as it will be easier to fit. I had to heat mine up with a blow torch to get off. If it's broke that is, mite just need tightening up.
Could just be the exhaust mounts by the sounds of it. Don't think ya cats broken. When the exhaust is on wrong they bang off the bottom unless it's where the clamp to the centre is. Maybe just needs adjusting. Think positive. Lol
Is it actually a hole as sometimes ya can repair them. Mine was quite a big tear so had no choice. A de cat is a cheap fix till MOT time or forever if ya know a garage.
Cats are expensive and not that common second hand. Mine cracked on my 182 so I got a de cat for 60 quid then managed to swap it for a cat before I sold it.
Haha didn't ya know illegal number plates are the cause of all crime. I don't understand why the whole police force and army arnt out catching these heathens ; ).
The cups really suit the standard silver turinis IMO. I sprayed my 172cups side strips and looked awesome, cost about 40 quid and alot of elbow grease sanding the soft touch paint off them. Then just get good tyres and brake pads and you'll love it. Oh and a splitter I notice it's missing. Lol
sounds like you drive like me. lol good on ya. only my 182 ran 175bhp ; p. i love the adjustability in the corners bringing the backend round to keep a tight line. putting a few corners together on a b road in a rs is 1 of the best things ya can do on a road. people on here dont seem to of...
Yeah dude and resist the urge to go to halfords. Lol your heading down the chav route. Colour code and some nice subtle wheels and maybe springs and your set.
Now I haven't tracked any clio's and haven't driven a 200 but ever thought of sourcing a ex mk1 Clio cup car or even ph1 cup car. Extra coolness and racing history. Gotta be better than a self made track car.
rs tuning is the place to go really. but aslong as a few clios go ya can still compare figures on the day. if i manage to find a new beast ill be up fo rs tuning.
Not sure about the engine knock thing. Was that a engine mount issue?
Steering wheels still melt but can pick them up for about 30 quid upwards without airbag but just swap the 1 in the car originally.
And I just sold 1 of the best standard inferno's around so ya just missed out ; p.
If ya stuck to 70 in my 182 around the northeast (it's quite hilly) and reset before the trip I'd get about 48mpg with abit of driving anticipation. Cruise control isn't the best for getting best mpg.
Buuuut how borings that. Get ya toe down. Lol
Heard the best put down ever on this last night. Geordie was there too.
Some dumb brummie was making his mouth go cos we were destroying them,
Welsh kid " I bet you don't even have a job, you sit and play cod allday'
Dumb brummie " yeah I do'
Welsh kid " what's ya job title? A giro technician'...
