Knockhill is very unlike the way proper english trackdays are run. There are no full day events. Its a lot of 2 hour or 4 hour events which are £50 and £100 respectively.
Proper ones are usually bout £200 for the full day but all organisers differ in what they offer.
Biggest bill for an all...
I'm booked onto the SIDC one on the 17th also.
Have done quite a few days up at Knockhill but all have been the Knockhill organised events. This'll be my first SIDC day but heard nothing but good things about their events.
Cheers guys. I'm over the moon with it.
Will see what I can do.
The car isnt sitting level, its on that slightly raised kerb you can see. On flat ground it is level but its getting properly set up in 2 weeks time once the new coilies are run in.
Just picked the little beast up. Very happy with how she is.
First things the brakes. Fudging awesome (Though the brakes that were on were just about finished so really any new brake setup would have been better). Getting used to just touching the peddle as opposed to pressing it a good bit...
Yeah, the newer 200s (Post August 2010 I think) have a different/revised suspension setup. A member with the newer 200s bought the Clubsports (Which he was told by KW would fit the newer 200s) but they didnt fit as the top mount is quite different.
I have provisionally sold my H&R coilovers so...
Dont know if anyone else feels the same but the stupid spell checker on our Macs keeps telling us words are spelt incorrectly. They aint its just looking for the American spelling.
Is there any way to change it to proper UK english?
Right, some more goodies arrived for the 200 today:
KW Clubsports with these shexee top mounts:
Getting fitted tomorrow along with the big brake kit, pads, fluid and service. Will be like a new car.
Gearbox has also been changed.
Ted Kravitz seems to this the exhaust might be pushing the rules: "New McLaren looks similar to last year's car, but with adventurous exhaust positioning, rule-wise"
