I know someone with a nova sr thats had a 2ltr put in & dropped -60mm on 17"s. Now that handles sh!t. Me and my mate (whos got a pug 205 gti 1.9) have raced him (only I won!) and both of us backed off when we saw it go round corners cos it looked like he was just gonna lose it. Looks very twitchy!
Well I phoned Renault yesterday about some sunroof parts and found out they had comedians answering the telephones:
Quote for the parts were;
S/R Frame - £308.25
E/S/R Motor - £233.55
E/S/R Switch - £23.50
This will make me never buy a renault again because of the stupid price of new parts.
Yeah, they seem pretty healthy figures so I dont think a de-cat would make that much difference as to fail it.
My valver got through the MOT with the de-cat, but then again the MOT tester is a mate!;)
Ive just got the KTR Bad Girl Spoiler

I think most people notice the difference in plugs simply because the old ones were not performing to their best.
The standard plugs in the valver are perfectly good enough, no need for uprated ones.
Ive been told because the frame is plastic, it will bend when you take it out of another car, so youd only end up putting in an already knackered frame.
Just phoned Renault up to check the price for my sunroof parts....almost had a flippin heart attack!
Sunroof Frame - £308.25
Electric S/R Motor - £233.55
S/R Switch - £23.50
Add £150+ for fitting and it comes to almost £750!
I need a new sunroof frame, but Im trying to find one from a scrapyard first before I go to Renault.
Is there any difference between the frames fitted to an electric or manual sunroof?
Also, are there any other Renaults that have the same sunroof as a clio?
Thanks
Tom
