Would it though really daz? The weight of the cars are the same regardless of the cup chassis. Is it just the hubs that would need changing though? thought the track was slightly wider?
make sure you grease up the threads before adjusting mate. and try not to get too much water to rest inside the adjustment collar as it will probably sit and rust.
run it into the ground and enjoy student life more with the spare cash imo. Even 1*2s aren't the cheapest thing to run/maintain especially when you take everything into account and any unexpected issues (Renaults, what can I say :()
Nice find mate. Bargain!! Even if you can't be arsed with it you could sell it for parts and probably double what you paid :) see you on the track soon hopefully
Cup for me. I could live with the interior and other bits. Plus it is the quickest clio due to it being over 100kg lighter. So better economy and performance as standard.
Standard caf is alreay there and you can't fit anything bigger with or without the acoustic really. 70mm max i'd say. Its the stupid headlight that gets in the way
it's been covered before. Can't remember what the outcome was. Depends on amount, and i'd doubt it would bind that well to a smooth surface, so clay, fingernail or as said, solvents.
WTF was she doing with the superglue in the first place. We all know they cant be trusted ;)
pro job really mate. But to be honest there is no reason why you can't get chrome effect paint and give it a spray. Seen an m3 in full chrome and it looked mint. you don't really need high temp paint. I used hamerite on mine and it's been fine :D
makes no difference power wise mate. Noise wise also no difference really. Make sure you pug up the vacume hose at the plenum or the idle will be high. Only thing you might get of benefit is a bit of weight saving really.
