I remember when I met R J Michael who designed a lot of the 3DO chipset, amazing bloke. He also did a lot of the work on the Amiga. Having an Amiga and being a massive fan of it I was really impressed to meet him.
When I worked at Elite we developed a couple f**king awful games for the 3DO...
It arrived this morning.
God knows when I'm going to get chance to play it. I'd have a look at it at lunch but I've loaned my work wheel to someone. Tonight I'm out and Friday and Saturday I'm on the piss.
Looks like it will have to wait.
Mate, it's one of the best games there's been over the last couple of years. Looks better than virtually everything else and plays like a dream.

The Cube version is a lot better than the PS2...
Maybe they use the same internals?
I got a load of nice gaming pads with the Alienware PCs here. Took one home and have one on my desk, you need a good surface for the mouse.
Starting to get a bit serious ain't you youth?
I tired a Razer Diamond back the other day, didn't like the feel of it to be honest, but then I've never got on with Razer mice.
I'm still using the MS one, but then I like the simple design and it fits my hand perfectly.
Don't think you'll be...
Finally started playing it at lunch time today.
Runs nicely in High detail mode, lots of nice particle effects, eerie music and sound effects and nice lighting effects.
So far, very Half Life 2 in terms of the pace of the gameplay, lots of exploring interspersed with manic shoot the s**t out...
Or more importantly, the ability to use your car as transport.
I've had to change the route I take to work as the Valver won't even get over some of the speed bumps I would normaly go over, in fact, getting off my drive is now a chore.
Stop suggesting more games. I'll never leave the house at this rate. lol
I think I'm going to play F.E.A.R first then maybe a little Q4 Deathmatch. I'll email me save games home as usual so I can play at home and work.
I've got more than enough games to keep me going at the moment.
F.E.A.R, Call of Duty 2 and Quake 4 are all getting installed as I type. Not sure which to play first. Think it's going to be F.E.A.R.
I like them, nice little warm hatches.
Evo didn't think much of it though, they seem to prefer the Zetec S, saying that the ST is over tyred, 17"s:eek:
Looks like Renault might have toyed with the idea at some time or another. It just appears to have added a little more width to the top part of the wing.
Not sure if these have been posted before.
Half Life 2 doesn't really push those cards, except for the Lost Coast tech demo. Games that really work the hardware are Doom 3, Far Cry and F.E.A.R
The Unreal 3 stuff brings dual 7800GTX to there knees though, and looks amazing.
