    thanks for your help mate had the car since new and the first time has started playing up which is a bit of a pain in the harris as we all know. Going to try and find a decent place to get her plugged in.

    battery replaced, new coil pack and the she's still not happy. Stuttered to get started almost like the engine is a bit flooded then after a few goes kicks in adn coughs a load of rubbish out the exhaust. I'm guessing this will be the crank sensor and perhaps the original coil pack was fine...
