This might sound crazy, and I have been asked this by mechanics - is there such thing as a higher performance or heavy duty wheel bearing, for the Clio? Seeing as the Clio's seem to eat the feckin bearings it would be a good idea to find out Anyone ever hear of a better/stronger bearing that...

I went to a wheel specialist last year to get a price on rear discs & pads for MOT and they argued with me that no Clio's had discs/calipers on the rear. I was like "follow me".....pointed...laughed and still got a really good price! :p

^ Screws onto 2 brackets that are bolted to the strut turrets (requires drilling 4 small holes) Spoke to one of the guys at K-Tec the other day who told me they had to get modified engine cover screws etc on thier demo car and he thought it was a one-off that it catches on the engine cover...
