the only way i can see i going to etthe caliper off is to cut the handbrake cable the get the clip thingy (whatever it is) out once the caliper is off. dont wanna do this but seems like the only way :(

How the f**k do you remove the handbrake cable from the caliper??!
in the haynes manual it says there is a retaining clip of some sort and you should tap it to get it out. I tried taping it and bashing the hell outa it but the bugger wont move.

I have had this problem with my valver and it was to do with the rear brakes. maybe handbrake not tight enough or worn rar brakes or even the rear caliper sticking??????
