There seemed to be a massive cruise going on down the M6 southbound, and saw this rather nice silver clio with two stripes going down the car on one side, looked quite nice, liked his front spoiler... probably not a member of CS, coz if he is, he's a traitor aswell! LOL
Should i get them professionally done, or could i do it myself?.. basically my silver ones have been badly curbed, do i have to refurbish them first, before i spray them? or what? or sand it dwn?
I aint trusting halfords with their colour coding spray paints, they're useless, im going to bite the bullet and pay renault a visit!
If i do go to renault, do u know if the aerosols there they sell would work on the bumpers, or would i have to buy plastic bumper paint spray? and laquer over it?
Want peoples opinions, i dont know the answer to be honest..
I am going to colour code the bumpers, but on the side, should i spray the 16v badge the same colour or a different type of silver?... because the silver i have on my car isn't iceberg silver... its the slightly more platinum silver...
whats the best type of paint to spray a cover like the one above?.. i hav the 1.2 cover, which is the smaller one, and it has a bit of grease/oil on it, what should i use to clean that off aswell?
i am wanting to DIY colour code my bumpers and my side strips, but how do i take them off?... as in i know that u have to open the door, and slide and pop out the side strips, but what aobut the 16v badge, does it just pop out if i slide it wen the middle section is off?..
and how do i take...
Where do you ppl buy them?... i wanna fit some mudflaps on my dynamique, but they're so expensive brand new! anyone got second hand ones they wanna hand down to me?
oops i made a typo in my message! what i meant was
Yea, thats probably my next jobby... im just worried that if i take the bumper strips off, and put them back on, will they become loose?... coz they're a bit loose already... and how do i take off the front and back bumpers ones off?
looks a good job, imo, but not to my taste.
you should spend money on colour coding the bump strips instead.

Thanks mate :)
Precisely what i say to ppl who say stuff about the stripes. i like them and thats all that matters!
Anyone going to try doing the sun strip on my windscreen?
Just recieved my induction kit from Doug, but noticed that the filter does fit snuggly, there is a bit that ( i think can come off) of the engine that is sticking out getting in the way of the cone... does anyone know which part i am talking about that is getting out of the way, and whther i can...
I am very new to all this modification business!
But want to know the main processes that i need to go through to lower my clio, how much it'll cost and what i would need and what to do! Thanks :)
