I think I have got the full amount back, paypal automatically transferred it into my bank account and i believe it takes a day or 2 to clear. I initially thought the guy had insufficient funds as i thought the money would be showing on my paypal balance.

haha, that's pretty much spot on! It really wasn't that bad up there, they'd clearly put some effort into clearing all their roads, unlike down here. Its a road that runs between Appleby and Kendal, I think it is the A685.

Much busier in the summer though, the roads were so quiet last week but even with the conditions i was still able to drive it quite hard.

I'd walk away, as said there are plenty about for sale at the minute. I bought a TT and didn't do a comprehensive HPI check, 3 months in a man with a trailer turned up trying to take it away as it had something like 12k outstanding on it. The guy I bought it off hadn't had finance on it...

One fuse had blown, for a sidelight. But it must also have something to do with the rear light on the same side and the clocks. It all works fine now, I just need to replace a headlight bulb.

Have you checked your fuses Daz?

I'll have a look at the fuses, but how many do you think would need to blow to result in all those lights not working?

I've seen those binatone ones, I think they've been designed with calling in mind. The letters on the buttons are still very small so texting would he difficult, I think a qwerty keypad would be better.
