Sorry, bringing up an old thread. I'm looking at removing the acoustic valve. I've got the bumper off and started the car when cold the valve is open. I thought it should be shut? Any ideas?

yep, wrong boss fitted. Hopefully correct one will be here tomorrow with the lugs! :-)

hi guys, hope someone can help, been spending a lot of time reading through all the different posts and still a little stuck. Bought a OMP boss - pic attached fitted with no problems, sensor still showing yellow and not moved. Drive down the road and traction control / service error appears...

i've got this issue, looks like my after-market boss (omp) does not have the lugs on the side which move the angle sensor. Anyone got any ideas on this?

I've just fitted a new steering wheel and boss and now it's throwing up this error. How did you get round it? I've removed the steering wheel and refitted and all seems ok. any ideas would be great. cheers

Thanks, i'm looking for road and track. How do you find those pads? I'll be putting braided hoses and 5.1 fluid in also. Thanks George, i'll defo be looking to get these discs. I run Yellow stuff in my BMW and find they work really well.

Hey Guys, back in the Clio fold, bought myself another 172. :-) Decided it was the best car for weekend fun. Picked up a 2003, 50k miler this morning. Already given the interior a little clean although it's pretty mint already. Will get more pictures up over the week.

I'm after a Diesel now, looking for either a Golf or A4.. I will certainly miss the handling! Sold for £2900, which i think was fair. Wanted more! lol I'll still be in and out of here for some banter, dont worry ;) Thanks for the comments guys.

Once you get your money back, which im sure you will. (just make sure you keep putting pressure on them - call 2 or 3 times a day etc) Look in the for sale section onhere. there are plenty of 172's including mine.. ;-) lol

2 totally differnt cars. Having had 3 MR2's. I love them, but they were always a second car for me. A weekend toy. You can use them every day, but its just not the same. Get more fun out of the clio every day. once or twice a week the MR3 is great fun... No help i know... lol
