2! lol! BM's a mess, but not that bothered with it at the mo. Will get ti resprayed at somepoint, then show it some loving! It's going Hartge i think! ;)
Shouldn't need to mask bits. It's a bit of a gimic tbh. A test patch in your own head is easy enough to do. But if you find it easier this way, horse on, i used to do it.
i read this last nite at about midnight and thought WTF! I'll look at it today.
My advice to you would be Get a 3.5in backing plate for wee pads. Clio's, hot hatches can not be done effectively without a small pad.
Pad grades range from Wool, Extreme cut to a feel that like my pillow...
^yes and no. Mind it will depend on the track. more rights and the left hand pressures will be higher. All you do it balance the pressures. Then when they're cold they'll settle.
I remember karting days and we were running beat retainers to keep the tyres on the rims, pressures as low as 8-10...
I'd rather have 10/10 for looks and 4/10 for durability tbh! A quick wax is less than half an hour after a wash. No issue really!
No experience with HD wax. It's more the branding and 50 wax range with DODO that puts me off. Looks like a kid's playdo set tbH!
Mine field pal. For 40£ there much for muchness. Just comes down to application, ease of use, whether you want a more wet look as opposed to a more durable wax...
CG 50:50
Swissvax ONXY
Dodo juice (Someone else can advise you at to which is best on Mondial)
ONYX would be my choice. A cup i...
32/30 indeed for road!
i would say 27/28 is a bit low for track. Depending on the tyre you'll be rollin on dem sidewalls!
lower pressures take a while for the tyres to come on, but better for the duration of the stint.
high pressures come on quicker, but also go off quicker...
Meh? 32/30...
It's a BM, who KNOWS! lol.
Not that i'm helpin much, but it's true, you're just going to have to try it and see if it works!
Process looks alright. You using a rotary or DA.
The polishes arn't fantastic tbh! You'd will suffice while you learn. As paul says, the pads will last....2 cars max. Softed pads can last a bit longer if used gently and washed well. Pad conditioner to keep them tip top.
Saphir. Was using ONXY.
Listen dude, you can have the hardest compounding pad and it won't damage the paint! It's the product that will induce micromarring etc.
Just spritz the pad to soften it a little, and then play about with the products. Clio's are a piece of piss, try Gloss it extreme...
Seen the advert for them the other day. Can't see the reason for having them?! :S I thought maybe they'd be good for shows. But then just take a small bottle of shampoo??!
