By the looks of it the car went into a wet ditch.. The water mark across the back is the same both sides, and the padding on the passengers seats back is f**ked (only speculation)
I wouldn't touch them with yours!
These seats are proper skanky... there are water marks up the backs of both seats, both subframes are seriously rusted and as the pictures show, they are heavily stained. If they were any good we'd have had them as they were only half hour down the road from us.
Something doesn't add up...
She scrubs up well :D I love having liquid yellow back in my life
We've both had turbod cars for so long that we'd forgotten just how great a naturally asperated engine is, the smile hasn't dropped yet!
And my avatar now makes sense again hehe
R112s are rare and verrrrry expensive! Surely it'd made sense to buy a 6 month old Cooper S for the same money? Better engine and extra toys already included?
Gorgeous Rich :D glad i sold her to someone who would look after her.
I dont like the bullets :( all too yellow IMO, but other than that.. spot on :D
And watch this space ;)
with the struggle we had to sell our Mini, I would say that you priced it spot on the money as every man and his wife is trying to sell a Mini - Recaro's and JCW bits would have made it easier for yours to sell though!
the last liquid yellow sold with 10k miles (needing cambelt this year) for just over £17k... admittedly to the editor of Evo... but values on Vee's are all over the place. crap time of year to be selling really
No im not saying that.. but i could understand if they did only a little to help.
Back when i was 18 and bought a 1.4Rt, i put it into a garage to have some work done on it (not long after we bought it) and it turned out it was a cut and shut.. they took that back very quickly, full refund...
But you dont know that yet.. it has one service missing which has more than likely been carried out at another Renault dealer somewhere else? in which case a new book can be all stamped up, job done.
Its an annoying situation but personally id wait for all the info before doing all this.
And...
Several people at the dealership have witnessed the log book, its been misplaced.. no one ( un-til the log book is found) has officially lied and at the moment its an honest mistake.
You're going way OTT with this IMO
"They told me it had FSH and it hasnt" what are trading standards going to...
