You cant go wrong with Tripple. I love it. Such a good product. £8 too! Top it off with a wax. Gally mentioned Autoglym HD wax which would be a good choice really.

Some people do . But IMO IPA doesnt actually clean. Just removes grease. Any dirt on the screen and youll need a cleaner.

If you want it to last, you need to clean the glass regularly, preferably with IPA based glass cleaner. It removes any particles which could end up acting like sand paper between your screen and wipers. I bought a largle bottle of G1 and Apply once before winter, and once in Spring time in...

Yep! Soon as the water behavior starts to fade away get another coat on. Wipe it down with IPA first as Im assuming you did when prepping properly then itll bond to the existing layer. Make a habbit of keeping your winscreen clean. Keep the glass cleaner in the car with some cloths. Wipe...

Not sure how much I rate FK now. Literally been on 2 weeks and the sheeting is pretty darn slow on the arse end. Added another coat tonight. Will buy Z8 and top it up with that every wash or 2 over winter.

Actually f**k it. Clay the paintwork, then use a pre cleaner like AG Super resin polish or AF Tripple, then add a wax of your choice. id invest in FK1000p as its tried and tested dont know how well tech wax works.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Nope. Just accept that it'll be hazy for the first week before you wash. Might also judder. Id invest in some IPA based glass cleaner. 3M or AF Crystal. Also wipe your wiper blades down when you clean your wind screen with the cloth and glass cleaner. Each time I re apply G1 I remove most of...

polish first. Glaze second. Polish will remove glaze. Glaze not necessary if polishing. Polish Not necessary if using glaze although i guess results would be better. Wax or sealant to "seal" in your hard work and give decent water repellent.

Have you got better at shooting games with age....or worse?

I remember Modern Warfare 1. Used to get genuine 40 kill rounds with like 4 deaths. M16 on burst silencer and the right perks and I was well away. Used to properly set my mouse up on high DPI settings too so I could move accurately even at long range. I used to get kids full on yelling at me...

Does he actually want to remove the swirls though? Sure tripple would look great. While I dont want to encourage you to ignore the possibility that you might burn through, I wouldnt worry too much. Just so long as you know the problem is there.
