So due to me not being able to leave nothing alone today whilst I was at work I thought I'd whip the breather pipe off between the top of the rocker cover and top of the inlet manifold (one with brown and black valve in).
Basically when it was running I could hear a whistling noise (kind of...
Tbh as many have already said picking up a second hand engine would be best, sticking a belt on and a fresh service and bobs your uncle.
I've done this for a few lads that have suffered aux or Cambelt failure and believe you me its a dam site cheaper!

Tbh I'm glad I didn't attend this time, conditions this weekend seem to have been appalling nationwide!
With heavy frosts yesterday and then windy and wet and greasy roads today

So first off picked up a clutch off Ads, R26r jobby so 20% more clamping force apparently.
Then got a bit of a bargain on an r26r smf lightened and balanced billet at a bit of a bargain after someone...
I'll be up for it, just checked and I'm off work that weekend.
Only thing is I hope we make a bit more "progress" this time I was getting a bit board tootling along shall we say.

We'll get them bolts in and dial some camber in and get the tracking sorted, maybe a little toe out ;) and see how she goes
