its come with a clamp for manifold to cat but in the instructions it even says use the current parts for cat to cat -back
just wondering if its worth replacing the gasket/clamp kit (despite it being done 6 months ago) and if it is worth changing can i just buy bolts from the bolt shop instead...
one more question!
the clamp between the cat and cat back got replaced 6 months ago - will it be reusable or will it be best to replace the gasket and / or clamp/nuts/bolts?
if i need nuts and bolts are they a standard size or do i need to go to renault?
i am 21 and i got my insurance just over 1k with direct line.
i waited and saved up for my car and paid in cash (- p/ex) and i am so glad i run my car fully paid for and no debts or monthly payments!!
definitely worth waiting in my opinion til the finances look nicer, paying 2k etc for...
right, this all finally arrived today, so it will be fitted some point soon, just one quick question though:
do I need to run it in, in a particular way? and for how many miles? or can you just go back to driving as normal
you can get like sticky back plastic with a carbon print, my dads got it on his kit car, i think it looks pants (compared to genuine carbon) but I could get a picture if you want
i think he got it from demon tweeks in wrexham
my trip computer usually reads about 32~ or there abouts.
If I reset it when I am being conservative on the motorway it goes up to 45ish and when i drive normally with a bit of speed here and there its only really gone down to 28-29ish but these numbers are over quite long periods allowing it...
I have this sports cat and this milltek cat back on order. I will let you know how it goes when it arrives next week and I get it fitted, I'll see how much quality I can get from a sound clip and if it's any good I'll post it up here.
I've heard value only makes a difference if the car is worth over 30k, i can't say that is fact but I think i read it on one of the insurers websites once
Hi All,
I have decided to change my exhaust on my 182, i need to change the cat (as it is cracked) and the back box system (as it's starting to blow) so here is what I am planning:
I want to change the cat for this:

as it is a daily runner...
was gonna say this is going to be the best idea - my girlfriends brother in law is a mechanic and has said i can bring my new exhaust round to his garage when i get it :D
that might just be your processor.
right click on my computer and press properties and see if it says 64 bit windows anywhere on that screen
if it doesnt you will need to get your hands on a copy of 64bit windows (xp or vista, your choice) before you shell out on RAM!
that brings up windows utilitys like narrator for me
Right click on 'my computer' and click on properties - it will tell you how much RAM you have there.
if you want to find out what RAM you can upgrade to I'm not too hot on what software will tell you which motherboard you have so I would...
Hi guys
My 182 has developed a strange squeak in the driver side front wheel, it seems to be suspension related as it starts squeaking as the road gets bumpy but it can also just come and go as it pleases, there doesnt seem to be any pattern to recreating the squeak, although you sometimes (not...
Hello all,
I have had a my Clio 182 now for about 7 months and have loved every minute of driving it!
There has just been one recurring problem during this time and that is that there is a crack along the circumference of the cat pipe.
It is sort of under the rear clamp so it would seem all...
