I'm with them, they were the second cheapest quote for me last year (£1895) just behind TSB but I couldn't go with TSB due to certain issues. This year however they still want £1350 whereas virgin insurance only want £1000

I've been let down with the turinis i'd bought. If anyone has any for sale or knows of anywhere I can purchase them preferably second hand in good nick, or at least cheaper than Renault!! please let me know. Thanks :(

Just shows you the difference between a good job and a bad one. The last pic there looks smart but all others I've seen look poor. IMO don't do the mirror surrounds or the fog surrounds but do everything else.

Vinnegar works really well to get all the crap off and then use the AG glass polish.

Like said above ^^, you'll be lucky. For me at 18 with one years NCB and living in a decent area with it in a garage (Ph1 172 value roughly £4500) I got quoted £4000+ !! :) :evil: :mad:

:D haha. Not quite that bad, just a bit of fun reversing out of our drive which is fairly steep.

As good as it does look I don't think I could ever pay someone £50 to do my car as the day after it could be back to normal if it pisses down an you drive it!

Fair enough then John, I thought ABS came as standard on our model. I'll bear that in mind about the splitter as i'm finally getting 16's so no doubt I will need lowering then.

John...Why no Abs? Also, is there bolt holes for the splitter, I'm sure when I looked when I bought my car it was just stapled on!!!

Yes I can now thanks, with the tints and the colour code. Tints were the last thing on my list and I was thinking I probably wont do them but they suit it alot better than I expected. Just need to keep saving!

I drive it as MarkCup, ukaskew and M1tch have suggested and I can get up 125 miles out of a tenners worth of petrol. That was one week of concentrating on being economic though as I only had that tenner to last me!

...Photoshop some turinis and pro race 1.2 (16") onto this car below please, it's the only pic I can find of a similar-ish car to mine. I couldn't get a pic of mine today due to the snow! I just need some visual help to make my mind up. If anyone then fancied showing me what it would look like...

My electronic oil reading has never changed! Gonna have a check tomorrow...car day tomorrow, brake fluid, oil check, it's getting a clean and t-cut with the electric buffer/polisher! (car will think it's her birthday!)

They were replaced around september-ish time mate when I had it serviced so they'll be fine. It definately needs topping up...got a brake fluid low warning when I had my MOT done, bunch of b******s didn't even top it up for me!

I picked up some dot 4 brake fluid the other day to top up with. Is this ok for my car? Thanks.
