One of the managers at work had one of these in the early 2000s.
Told me to give it a go, but insisted to drive it with the windows down in order to appreciate the V6 noise. :)
There's a lot to be said about enjoying time with your dad. My dad was a mechanic by trade and I would have loved to have spent time tinkering with a car build at some point.
Some things are worth far more than financial cost or gain at times.
The rears are a nightmare for this. Thankfully our driveway is flat and I just leave it in-gear with the handbrake off after I've washed it OR - have been driving in particularly heavy rain.
I don't know of much else that you can do that you aren't already doing?
As an example of CAZ - I may need to pay £10 per day just to nip down and see my parents from June next year.
Officially, it's saying I don't, but that might change?!
Good point. On top of that, campers are getting (or will definitely soon) hit by the clean air charges in a number of major cities.
These charges are going to be a significant deterrent to people wanting a camper for occasional use.
Ignore the money side of it and whether or not it will make you £££££ in the future. That's something you have zero control over.
You said yourself that you have a massive soft spot for it - that in itself makes retaining it worthwhile. You're qualifying as a mechanic - so what appears a little...
Granted - a good number of console titles migrate well to the PC, but unfortunately their control systems do not.
If I can't even 'back-peddle' through the menus using the decades-old Escape key - then I'm immediately wary. Some games make an amazing transition to K&M whereas other flatly...
I'm always surprised at how tall these engines appear to be. Even without the inlet on top of @Jon Wright 's picture - they are still lanky-looking things!
Welcome!
They do get under your skin and having had mine since new, it will take a LOT for me to part with it!
Of course, you had the additional 7.4bhp power increase mod of buying one in Black Gold too? ;)
Me neither yet, though it's the only quest that I have outstanding.
Ticked off another two Steam achievements over Christmas. Managed to get to MR26 and am currently about a quarter of the way to MR27 with the help of those boosters that I got from Day 2,000. I also completed the 6 bounties in...
I've delayed my first (still!) playthrough of this game until as Andy (@SharkyUK) says, the remaster is released. I believe that it's Q2 of this year?
The XBox GOTY version is listed as £15.99 on cdkeys, but is currently out of stock.
Please tell me that you can fly this in multiplayer with someone else acting as your RIO? 😊
Would be superb to have four players running this in wingman formation - but that would assume that you're all up to speed on how the bloody thing flies in the first place?!
I got mentally battered way...
I very nearly jumped into the world of owning a Mac back in '93 when I saw that the library at uni was setup with a large number of them to do work on.
I don't think until that point, I'd seen a functioning portrait setup - but this clearly worked. Perhaps the only reason why I didn't follow it...
All footage captured in-game? I’d love to know the hardware specs on that.
Looks like they have the A6 Intruder on there too - not seen that in many flight games at all, though there was the old ‘Flight of the Intruder’ game from years back...
Good stuff. I’ll message him and bob over in the New Year and have a chat. In a way it’s a shame I’m still working from home as being back in the office on Shadsworth would make him much closer. I’ve only been back in there three times since March 2020.
@MRBILLYUK - as you're local to me, I'd love the details of the place you used, if you don't mind?
I need both side arches doing as well as the usual petrol filler cap area.
Cheers!
Chatting to a mate of mine regarding the drop rates of the older kit. As I'm trying to hoover up new kit purely for the MR increases that it will give me, I've been looking at some of the old vanilla Warframes that are more or less discarded by the masses now.
Take Equinox. I bought her Prime...
I'll keep on repeating this until wireless genuinely becomes superior. Yes, cables are a pain - they are unsightly, need to be hidden ideally, not always practical to run between rooms - yet they are cheap as chips when you make your own and piss all over wireless in terms of performance...
Still plugging away at this - more so now for the 100% completion with the Steam achievements.
I've got 9 left - 5 of which are mastery rank increases from my current 25 to the max 30. The remaining four are all doable, but the "1 million metres travelled on a K-Drive" is soul destroying...
