Also a few pics of what i'd like a mint example of...
Astra GTE 16v
RS turbo series 1/2
Mint RS 1800 fiesta
Williams.
Lotus sunbeam.
MK2 RS2000
Mk1 XR2 in white.
Or some sort of hybrid old fiesta with a type R engine a bit like this.
I can understand an M car costing thousands dave,i just dont get why diesel parts are so expensive.
Here is an E46 M3 fuel pump.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-M3-3-2-e46-smg-fuel-pump-breaking-for-parts-spares-/320890798399?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ab695013f
And here is a...
Just a question Russ. Why are these tdi's so expensive.Even still after a good few years.Take my type R fuel pump,A new one is around £200.For a battered 2003 tdci focus its £1000.
Is it the high pressure they work under that makes them so expensive as in special strength parts.I'm just curious...
Silly money to run tbh.supercar fuel bills like 15mpg for the 5,0 V10.Servicing once the warranty runs out will be silly and tyres must be at least £250-£300 a corner.
Insurance will also be quite steep being group 20
I can vouch for the zaino finishing stuff.im useless at detailing but even my fn2 comes up lovely.
Its a lovely car and great shots by the way, even if it looks a little broken.
Re: My A1 (to be) Thread
Seen as its a decent discounted car(i hope) then i would go for it.I think they look really nice,in a small car sort of way.Build quality will be good and it will probably hold its value well being cheap tax and economical to run.
If it was me(joe public)i would be...
14mpg.........lol
There is something wrong with that car.
I used to run 2 VR6's and they returned around 30 mpg.
I looked at an advert for a new X5 M the other day on ph and one of the photo's showed the computer reading 13mpg.However that was a 4.4 V8 twin turbo.
