To give you an idea, I painted mine by sanding it down roughly and painting it satin black. Normal paint not high temp paint. It's turned out well an no problems as yet. I didn't primer or oven it.
As said above I got this quite regularly and I adjusted my brake pedal sensor switch, (very easy to do even for me) but I think my switch is on its last legs as I get it very occasionally now. Nothing to worry about.
I always find a carpark when it snows. Practice with the car and see how it handles. (Read as mess about!!)
I remember driving over canmock chase 2/3 years ago and it was like an ice rink, even the diesel mondildo tank I was driving wouldn't budge. Fun but scary!!
