Capital seating will sell you the subframes to fit them onto your current runners, thats all you need iirc. Maybe some resistors to stop the airbag light.
Either try and find some cobra subframes which attach to your runners, I think they do them, best to ask tweeks or someone like that. Or get your own fabricated, will need dimensions, or someone on her might have some.
Its a crap idea though imo, seat will still be too high, possibly higher...
No idea how much the alternator will cost, but reckon you should get it done inc labour within that budget. Might mean a recon alternator if those exist?
To give you an example, the labour to change my aux belt and PAS pump was £100+vat, similar amount of work i'd of thought do that plus an...

Well, I really dont want to but it's looking that way. Next year it'll be on 100k no doubt and worthless so might aswell make it into a proper toy. Been looking at cage's too :o

Happy with it though, nearly got some blue 3" one's off ebay used but just really wanted black :o

Unsure yet, I am going to leave it for a while since it looks ok from a standing height. Might get a fabia one but would prefer another ktec. Another option would be to try and bond this back together and spray it black, might try that first.

Yep this happened to me like alex says. After cleaning all the s**t away it was much better, wont be using copper grease on them again.
Still happens occasionally but only on track, I am toqueing them up to around 120ft/lb now and it seems to hold them rather well. Going to get studs though...
Buffering times on my connection for a 720p youtube video is roughly the length of the video before it can start playing, and even then if someone else uses the connection it will be further slowed down. 4OD will sometime fail to work in its lowest quality :(
