yeah, i played with potentiometer when mine was acting up, revs became erattic and it was slightly hesitent when i was just cruising at normal speeds.
but once that was back to normal the car was still cutting out etc, but was still driving fine. Sounded a bit rough though, especially from...
Im running standard chip at the moment, so rev limiter is standard 7200rpm. Was overtaking off a roundabout onto a small bit of dual carriageway at about 5k rpm in 2nd, bloke in beemer was giving it some so i booted it, expecting the limiter to kick in, looked down and it was revving to about...
2.0 bottom end, can be found on willy or megane F7R, exactly the same. then williams has slighty bigger valves! only other difference is exhaust manifold afaik, valver manifold is better for more torque, willy one helps the 2.0 rev a bit more!
wouldnt bother TBH. When I had the engine rebuilt, the valver flywheel was fairly light as it was. their aint a lot more that can be taken off!
as for buying another flywheel....hmm not sure about that, im sure u can from somewhere!
idle speed control valve....just had the same problem with mine, replaced it and it runs perfect now....
if not that the the road speed sensor, swap ur speedo cable...
both dead easy jobs to do like...!
yes, im planning on doing similar...iv got a bmc cda airbox, but no cold air feed going into it. just waiting to get a new bumper cos some w@nker crashed into mine and its cracked, then im gonna sort it out!
Righto, iv blown my sony HU up, got a pioneer now for the meantime, but iv still got 10 of my best cds stuck in the cassette in the changer. someone is buying the changer as well. any idea how I can get it out, or am I gonna have to search for someone I know with a Sony HU?
Cheers!
yes they sh*t lol....once u take ur dials apart its very easy to break them or that they wont work after. if u want different colour ones get a set of willy dials!
