ah my bad... same applies to his insurance though. The garage will forward the repair quote to them to decide, after they've inspected the car. Don't forget, you have the right to choose any approved insurance repair garage you like... you don't have to accept theirs.

They'll want to get the car in for inspection first, then they'll raise the repair quote with your insurance who will either approve it, or write it off. The garage will contact you and let you know either way. Chin up mate, its just transport :)

nah not a write off. THIS was fixed no bother, all new panels including rads. Saying that, it was a year ago now.

Let's ruffle the carbon guys' feathers... Its been proven that the alu bonnet is lighter than the carbon equivalent. fact. For reference, age doesn't come into it... my old one was one of the last Ph1s off the line (march 01) and it had both the shift light and alu bonnet.

You can apply all of those to the 182 though. More of a sideways move IMO. I would have opted for the R26.

i know renault say the drop on cupped packed cars is 3mm... but this proves its b****cks. More like 20mm

nothing will happen until you start the engine... the auto lights come on with the engine. They're crap anyway, mine are turned off. With them on you can't quickly flash someone, the lightest flick will keep the full beams on until you flick them off again.

The wheelbase is longer on the V6... so unless you plan on a cut and shut chassis it'll look wrong however much you spend on the plastic panels from Renault.

we sell those cleaning discs at work... I'll try one later, before buying it of course ;) I hadn't thought of that, hopefully thats all thats needed

Clearly this translates to ERROR CD... but only when using a CD in the head unit. The CD changer in my 182 works fine. Anyone know whats wrong with it, and if there's a quick fix?

Yes. Returning my car to standard is the best thing I've done to it... and I wasn't even doing it to sell. Having said that, I think your car is a) too expensive and b) its the wrong time of year to sell a car in a hurry.
