yea, at the end of the day i just want a quicker PH1 so figures mean nothing compared to actually how it drives. if it ups the bhp but not much for the torque it'd be a bummer but i suspect thats the case.
its so tempting to have a go myself but am nervous of undertaking something like this...
this makes me do sex wee, ive been in NZ for a month now and everytime i come online i look at throttle bodies and prices and what i can do to make the clio faster when i get back but refuse to pay 6 grand for a tubby and even a massive amount to let someone else fit TB's for me. how easy would...
i keep the original in the boot with some sticky pads, if the police stop me i can at least try and blag it and put the usual one on. it looks a bit smaller than my 3/4 does though
i used these guys last week, paid just under £60 for a pair of Toyo's. they dont charge postage on 2 tyres or more either. Well chuffed, they turned up 2 days later

kind of, i think i blib it more as the clutch is being depressed more than on the way up. i do it without thinking though, so not 100%.
yep it givs extra revs
i always do it in the car, even the Traffic van needs it doing on these cold mornings lately but that might just be because its fooked and wont go in any gear lol
i've come from a 300bhp SkylineGTR to a Clio 172, the clio still puts a smile on my face when the roads are empty. the only thing i miss is the switchable 2/4wd and S6 engine:( ...... need any more convincing :D
i have more plans engine wise, not going to go really high power with a turbo or anything but who knows, depends what im going to end up using it for. track car or just my second car, i cant decide.
i prefer the smaller plate, looks less like a micro machine with HAUGE plate on.
smoked repeaters are on there way very soon, just being arsed to go outside and fit them is my current issue :P
with the splitter, had to cut the ends off about 4" at each side, then cut the 2 centre lugs which cant be seen in the picture. took about 45mins but thats only because the fecking...
I got it from Seat, its for a Cupra. bargain at only £20. when i asked for it, they knew it wasnt going on a cupra. cheeky b******s.
M!keydee, do you mean the wheels? the pictures dont bring it out too well but looks soooo much meaner in real life than silver. i like it and thats the important...
£20.71inc vat is the reason i used a Seat splitter lol. i refuse to pay £100 odd quid for a piece of plastic from renault. how much does it cost them to make it??

free postage on 2 tyres or more. then go to a local tyre fitter who will charge about £5 a tyre to fit. mine does anyway lol.
im going with Toyo T1R's next personally after alot of recommendation on GTR owners club.
Hello boys and girls, finally stopped saving for holidays. When i purchased her, she had the usual Viper induction, Group N ecu, k-tec stealth exhaust etc.
Have so far lowered 35mm, painted wheels black, added Seat Leon splitter and a few bits and bobs. Not a bad difference for about £200...
ive got 3/4 plate on my car, the letters are 60mm tall, need to be 64mm tall. small difference but yes they are illegal. will the police get a tape measure out, not so sure but dont really want to find out.
have had small or no plates on all my cars...
ive got a 172 with induction, exhaust, decat, group N ecu thingy and am wanting to get mine put on a RR. wonder what bhp i'll end up with. the problem with mine is that i bought it like that so have nothing to compare it too, and wether its worth spending the money on cams etc. have money...
