Well PJ's 197 made 208bhp at SRR, with just a panel filter! I've yet to see a 200 make those figures :rasp:

You've got a point. My 172 was driven nearly everyday for 5 years, never let me down once.. it goes a week without moving, and then throws all it's toys out the pram..lol.

Well IIRC the OEM battery lasted 6 years, the current Halfords one about 2!

Well it turns out the following parts needed replacing/ are broken. Alternator is fried Battery too Aux belt has had better days, so will also be changed. :( Just had a new clutch, and gearbox re-con too! The old girl has cost me a lot of money lately. But it has done 130k so I guess I...

*Quick update* Clio gets picked up tomorrow afternoon, fingers crossed it's a easy/cheap fix. I finally ordered a 3/4 plate for the front, will fit it once I get the car back, and also fit the 2118s, take the rear bench out and fit the RS Sabelt wheel. After having a drive in Nick172cup clio...

Yep. 172 is getting picked up tomorrow at 3.00pm. so I'll be rolling in the DERV.
