Nope, it's literally just for the isofix, and whilst it does have two loops in the boot to allow you to strap stuff down, it doesn't have any other function.
Just done a test with my laptop, 3060 non Q, 1080p in a 2 car race at Cadwell with 4096 res reflections, all the fancy visual stuff such as raytracing and FSR on, 170fps.
I am a HEAVY Assetto enthusiast, lol. No problems on my 3060. The latest custom shaders patch incorporates FidelityFX Super Resolution which is enough to comfortably sit at 120-140fps at 1080p.
I mean it depends. It’s not going to beat a desktop but realistically for most cases a decent 3060/3070 laptop will still play most titles very well indeed.
I love old 911s. Such pretty cars.
The fact you have your perfectionist hands on one gives me the heebie jeebies. 'Things I'd love to do: Spend an inordinate amount of money completely nut and bolt restoring a 911'. Sadly I totally lack both the time and money to do so.
Big updates in the Custom Shaders Patch Patreon build.
Top ticket item is AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution - much like Nvidia's Deep Learning Super Sampling, it renders the game at a lower resolution then upscales it to the display resolution using AI to fill in the missing detail, giving the...
They're like rocking horse s**t it seems. I love the DOHC TURBO on one side, and FULL TIME 4WD on the other. Just in case anyone didn't know it was turbooooo.
No pics because I was driving, but yesterday I saw an absolute beauty of a Mazda 323 Turbo 4x4, minty mint and in this silver;
(Possibly that car actually)
Rare homologation special, only 500 built and 10 left on the road. Had to roll down the window and compliment the guy at the lights...
Yes, but not the one that appears at the bottom of the screen in replays - you need to use the app which comes up in the sidebar, and use shutter speed for blur (CSP required of course)
I thought it'd be kinda pointless tbh since it's mainly down to what screen you view them on. But I'll try and get some soon.
However in the meantime here's a couple from my work laptop.
So it turns out that HDR on Assetto Corsa only works in windowed mode.... I've been playing all this time thinking it's in HDR, and it's not.
With the new patreon only Sol HDR filter, it's bloody epic.
Try it. I’m thinking it’ll mess up the climate control but shouldn’t stop it blowing cold on minimum. From an AC side of things the only temperature in the cabin that it cares about is the temperature of the evaporator to ensure it doesn’t freeze up.
worst comes to the worst I think it’s just a...
Apparently it was hoovered but that stuff wouldn’t come up.
Had it on OBD today, drove a good 20-30 minutes and the hottest it got was 68c, so thermostat it is. Shame it’s one of those bloody integrated housing jobbies though, have to replace the whole lot instead of the thermostat. Still, easy...
No real pics but recharged the aircon today, now absolutely ice cold even at idle - I was expecting it to be undercharged but it was actually overcharged so I... err... did absolutely nothing. But it's spot on now.
Managed to sort the clutch in the car, was a lot easier after I disconnected the...
Welcome!
Sounds like a great fun project. I hillclimb/sprint too and the missus' 1.4 16v is frequently in danger of being fitted with a beam breaker  The low power classes do look like a lot of fun and consumables cheap too.
Yup!
I’ve just spent the evening fighting with the clutch pedal linkage. Turns out someone fitted the uprated one but only put one of the clips in. The unclipped end is therefore fucked and pops out, but the clipped end is absolutely bloody solid. I can’t get the fucker off, not that there’s...
