Keep it ventilated too, if you just put it on your bed or your lap to watch stuff it'll shut off a lot. You need to prop it up a bit so the air can circulate.

Omfg!!
Pics of said Clio V6 ?
Why ?
because they are NOTHING like you've just said!! I should know, I've had one for 6.5 years.
Also, 'nicely tuned' with an exhaust & induction kit, doesn't mean tuned at all! Plus, if you thought it was that good you ought to...
If it had silver wheels, I'd love it more.
I actually think he could ask more for it, prices on these are nuts! I've seen top end minters on for £35k !
I've only ever seen one Escort Cos with no top wing, it was a black one. Years ago (in 2000) I went to look at a bog standard Fiesta RS Turbo in red, when I got there, only one front wing was red, the rest had gone pink so I walked away. The dude replaced the RS Turbo with the escort Cos. I...
I'm going to use that Gtechniq (I think it is) stuff mentioned in the detailing thread, it's about £25 though, but it lasts. I've gotta buy it first though!
I think that Rondell's look the sh*t on the Escort! imo there is no better wheel for them.
On that red one, it's odd how he's had it de locked, but it has a non colour coded door handle :S it's still the nuts though!
Thanks Chip!
I've seen that picture in a few Ford books.
OTTO models did the 172 Cup & Phase 2 172 in flame red. Both of them were nice (I had them)
They also did the Mk2 V6 in illiad blue (original release) then lately they did it in liquid yellow. The V6 models are way off though!!
OTTO have not done a Mk3 clio yet, only Solido have, they did a...
I heard that even though the Escort Cossie replica wheels were bigger it was still difficult to get big brakes behind them, is that true ?
I think that blue one looks wrong on gold wheels, it's sort of clio williams, or scooby esque now.
Ebay is a good bet. I wouldn't go to Diecast Legends, they're MEGA expensive!
Here you go,

Great project, love the minilite wheels!
One of my old girl mates from years ago's mum had one in beige (with brown seats) she sold it to a dude about 25 years ago, he's still got it, 1.6 Ghia on a W reg, it's a proper minter.
