Dished wheel isn't the best idea IME.
I went from a 330mm dished OMP wheel to a 300mm flat.
I love my 300mm wheel more than life itself, oh and the boss automatically brings the wheel closer to you to help with reach issues.
I don't know if you're right either Chris, but if you are, it's not what the OP wants atm. Plus, lets be honest, it's not like there's not been enough bad press as it is.

I think the tweeter cover does just pop off, it might be a bit fiddly that way, but not difficult, the tweet is directly below the cover so you just need to pop it out and change it over.
Taking the dash top off is not a difficult job anyway mate.
