I like how he was saying 'call the Police, call an Ambulance, call the firemen........call Batman'!
Why don't you stop filming it on your phone and call the yourselves you bellend?
It was one of the earlier MK5 GT TDI's, being German the probably sorted it straight away,
I really miss the seats & interior out my old one, they'd make the Clio perfect.
No dashboard issues?
When I had a brand new MK5 GT TDI the dash started to shut down before it was even a year old,
a VW technician came out to look at at and told me it would have been a recall,
but VW decided it was cheaper to just replace all the dashboards that were faulty.
Would have...
You could buy a new one for £9 quid, trying to line up the individual letters will be a pain in the arse,
new ones will have an application backing sheet so it goes on straight...
So basically they've shat it at the response from the track day community,
and realised that they could have very easily f*cked up the entire industry and lost a sh*t load of money.
I'll definitely be reading the disclaimer at track days a hell of a lot more carefully in future.

Also what bushes do the rear beams have?
I'm planning on buying a 2.0L, getting it looking the way I want,

Although I need a few things to come good in my life before that happens.
Sadly there's no way I can can afford what that'll go for,
since I got interested in them as a project car year or two ago the prices sky rocketed, same with mk1 & mk2 Cortina's,
i'm starting to think that as soon as I get into something, I jinx it and it becomes too expensive to even buy a...
When I opened this thread I wasn't expecting much but that is a bloody lovely car,
thank god it's a classic and not one of those Christ awful BMW things. (not counting JCW obviously)
I think i'd cry if I had to get rid of that, it's on my cars to own list.
Should fetch a decent price seeing as...
I wouldn't be buying a used one you could just end up with the same problem,
they're not that expensive new.
I'd message or ring Adam at Wolverhampton Renault to get a price on a new one,
he's a good mate of mine and is spot on with delivery.
