This was made by someone who was contracting at RS Fabrications. The guy was called Michael Moyers. He now runs Alpha Performance Fabrications, you could speak to him and see... but I can tell you it was by no means cheap at all...

Nice design, really neat. Mine has a bit of flex currently so it may be something I address in phase 2, but I really need to get the car built and usable first.

It is indeed filtered where they split (for ease of service) and uses a standard filter size from a Hyundai Getz I think it is. I haven't tested (or have the ability to test) the venturi effect but simple physics suggests to me that it should be relative in this case I would have thought

UPDATE: I started the day with prepping the subframe, steering rack and track rods to go back together - the track rods have now turned up but I am going to wait to pick up the tool before I refit. I then moved on to refitting the top of the airbox. I thought this may be the best time to do it...

So it turns out the other button is on the steering wheel. I did not know this, I thought they didn't do anything as they had no labels. I spoke to the original builder today and it turns out the labels were on his steering wheel hence no sign of what the buttons did when I mounted them up...
