It definitely smells unique, like a cross between earth and wet dog,
i'm immune to it these days.
I like my car the way I like my women, fast and dirty.
Getting the updated centre hanger is on my to do list,
tbh i'm just going to get the Prima racing one so I never have to buy another hanger ever again.
A loud knock or clunk is usually mount related,
I only got rid of my clunk completely when I polybushed the dogbone
and fitted K-Tec (vibra-technics) engine and upper gearbox mounts.
These anti-modified car rules were meant to come in at the start of this year,
the fact it keeps getting delayed would suggest maybe they've realised that not only will it difficult to implement,
but destroy quite a lucrative industry that makes millions a year and keeps 1000s of people in work.
I made 173bhp at a RR day with a V6 box, matched inlets, Piper 2.5" exhaust & a Fastchip 98ron map.
So any proven gains from breathing mods is something that always gets my attention.
If it's a generic map then fitting mods or leaving them off won't make any difference to the car's running,
you can optimise the air in, air out with filter, exhaust, inlets etc, but you can still remap a standard car no problem.
If you were to get a live map on some rollers, then having all...
I stupidly used the one in Coventry, because I live in Coventry. ;)
Doesn't matter anyway, the next car i'm buying is a WRX wagon,
Clio's can do one, apart from the dog kennel I bloody love that car.
Nothing really any more, it's intermittent starting issue has fixed itself thanks to day of drag racing,
I don't know how or why, I just know the problem's gone.
Oh, the drivers seat's a bit sticky when you try to slide it forwards.
