Cheers maate i'll have a look, if i'm lucky then it may just need tightening,
i'm going to get it booked in at a local Renault speialist, but I just wanted to check if it's something I can fix before I go spending money.
It just wasn't having any of it this morning, but then suddenly fired up...
My car's having problems stating and i'm now pretty sure it's the battery earth,
wouldn't start this morning and got the clicking noise (starter motor?) and dash lights flashing.
When it finally fired up the dash clock was reset to 0:00,
the battery is fully charged because I checked it the...
VW Caddys that look like this, I know I shouldn't but I do.
There's one i've seen driving round Coventry that's as low as low can be and just pure rust, I really like it. :o
Nice car for an 18 year old but please be careful mate,
if 182s had been around when I was 18 i'd have killed myself within a month,
at 18 I was getting hammered down the pub and throwing myself down flights of stairs on a skateboard.
Enjoy it, but just take it easy until you get use to it. :)
Those wheels look loads better, sportlines do lower it a little over standard and firm it up a bit,
Skoda splitters are dirt cheap so that's a winner.
If you can get some sportlines second hand in the for sale section then you're laughing.
Cheap mods FTW.
I know what's not to love, the Mini is amazing so i'm kind of breaking the rules,
as this is guilty pleasures as in cars that are a bit s**t but likeable.
I guess if i'm being cruel I could say they're small and slow,
but that's no reason to not like a car.
Beetles suck arse!!!
A shiver just went up my spine, I had a Rover 414 that shape, head gasket blew up......twice!!!
Part ex'd it for a nice Golf TDI, felt a bit guilty when I drove away from the garage,
bloke probably scrapped it, there's no way anyone would have bought it......utter heap.
Nice one, do I have to sand down every coat of spray?
As in spray primer then rub down, second primer coat then rub down, colour then rub, second colour etc?
I'm not sure if this is a guilty pleasure seeing as it's a 'cool' car, but they're not to everyone's taste,
a bit like an original VW beetle, some people love them, some hate them.....personally I hate beetles.
I'd imagine alot of people feel the same about the Mini.
So much want every time I...
I've read through alot of threads about spraying the diamonds/bullets/badges,
so i've got an idea about how it's done, even though i've never done anything like this before,
but the best way to learn anything is by doing.
I've just removed the 'Clio' badge off the boot and i've got all the...
I've kept up with the odd Porsche Boxster driven by fat middle aged men that weren't trying,
does that count as a Porsche beater?
911s on the other hand vanish into the distance regardless of what I do with the pedals,
I overtook one on the motorway once, I was doing 75 and he was doing...
Plastidip's a tenner. :approve:
It's just the fact that you can change the colour without having to be arsed with sanding, primer, paint & lacquer.
I'm an incredibly lazy man and this appeals to me, although on my day off i'm off down Halfords to but all of the above,
as I feel like doing...
Not sure if this has been posted before, but I thought it was worth putting up.
Seeing as painting a Diamond yourself takes about £30 quids worth of supplies,
£10 quid is quite a cheap deal and if you don't like it you can just take it off...
I don't think i've ever had my esp on, I switch it off before I start the car every time,
the last time I left it on was when there was snow on the ground, even then I only used it to pull on to the drive.
The more you turn it off, the better your throttle control gets. ;)
