5 years or 72k on cambelt, 36k and 'some' years on the aux belt, not sure how many Diesel sounding engine on tickover means the dephaser pulley has gone, which means a cambelt change and 600 quid Knocking on hard acceleration in 1st and 2nd is exhaust knocking on subframe = worn engine mounts...

You need to jack the engine up

Dephaser pulley by the sounds of it

You can check the old MOTs online since they went computerised, www.direct.gov.uk I think. Check what mileage it was on, in 08/09. If you don't own the car then you'll have to ask for the number that's on the log book

Do you have a 3D tv? You can set the tv to play SBS in 2D mode. If you don't have a 3D tv then ignore me completely lol
