New Clio 182 Owner and question

Welcome to CS mate :) Hope you enjoy the car , bags of fun for not alot of money ( unless they go wrong lol ) ;) . If the exhaust is original and on 60K it'll be due to drop off at any minute and without warning  ,they tend to do that on 1*2's . A nice yozzasport exhaust should sort that...

    04 182 Failed MOT - Emissions

I'd check the joint between your exhaust and CAT , or exhaust manifold and CAT isn't leaking . Mine is ever so slightly and the lambda level was higher than last year , borderline fail .

182 Exhaust snapped off, Renault want £747

+1 . Not alot louder than standard with a cat until you give it some beans then it's louder but not ear bleeding loud . If you de-cat it , it is loud tho ;) . Quality is second to none imo .

    Artic 182 as it stands.

Yeah . Sanded , plastic primer , colour coats and lacquered .

    Artic 182 as it stands.

I dont have any pics of the whole interior . Here are a couple more . The RS coloured justmatz match the arctic blue perfectly . Just brightens up the interior a little rather than the drab looking silver trim .

    Artic 182 as it stands.

A bit too much yellow for my liking . I'd just stick to dash trim , steering wheel and gear knob insert .

    Steering wheel badge.

Just pull really really hard . It won't snap, the two clips on the back hold the bugger on so tight it feels like it will .

    Artic 182 as it stands.

Best colour imo , but i'm biased . Looks funny seeing an arctic interior with silver dash trims . Needs arctic dash trims , gear knob insert and steering wheel trim to finish it off ;)

    182 REAR SPRING - CHANGING

Oh right . From the posts i read i understood you could use one jack to raise the car , a second jack to support the beam when you took the bolt out then lower the beam and remove the spring . Is the beam ok to the lift the car with the jack ? Strong enough ?

    182 REAR SPRING - CHANGING

I've read a few posts about changing the rear spring on a 182 . One jack to jack the car up and a second jack onto the rear beam to support it when you remove the 18mm bolt from the damper . First question , is it just one 18mm bolt , undo and pull out like the arrow in the pic . Is there a...

Airbag light and service light always on

My 172 had a cd changer under the seat , the wire is above that . If your having trouble getting your hand under the seat push the seat forward and do it from behind the seat :) It's a commonish problem , and yeah there is a connector . Some people remove the connector and solder the wire...
