More understeer. Essentially, the stiffer the rear is in relation to the front, the less understeer you will get. On a clio, soft front/hard rear is good, hence why Whitelines are so popular.

Cant say i'm surprised to be honest, although tbf to Renault, the 1st versions of their hot hatches are also pretty below par, the 197 & 225 got poor reviews, then slowly morphed into the 200 and R26. In 3 years time, the 200T will be a manual, with less weight and more power. Ill consider one then.

I used to use T1Rs Nick, mega cheap and fine wear wise if you're smooth, Hankook v12 evos are also good imho. That was with -3 on the front -1.8 on the back, parallel toe.
