really as I didn't have to do this, i just connected it with the HDMI and then turned it on and it said HDMI connected, choosing best resolution and then it all came on, is this a feature of my samsung tv then?

bluray is 1080p, so bluray movies will play at 1080p thru HDMI. Games, well debateable whether you would be able to spot grapics in 1080p compared to 720p plus it takes a lot of extra power to use 1080p so games can be better running at 720p.

ps3 controllers are wireless and let you turn the console on and off like the 360 but they also have the tilt ability too!

if it is the hard drive then take it off and use the 360 and if it works you are right, i think its not the hdd though

lol, the only reason people didn't turn up to collect was because they had ordered them for ebay thinking there would be a shortage but as sony provided plenty there wasn't an ebay market so the cut their losses. its an amazing system, easily as good as the 360 and has had the biggest launch...

i'll agree its heavy (doesn't make much difference as it just sits there anyway) but mine doesn't get hot. If I put my hand over the air outlet then it is warm but its defo not hot anyway, nothing like the 360 gets?
