You must be slightly pi55ed about that! The chips are annoying but getting them sprayed by him worked out cheap. Even with the cost of getting the chips fixed it's still cheaper than a local bodyshop. Good luck with the fitting mate!

Cheers mate thats what I thought. Sorry misunderstood your post I think, yours is a ph1 isn't it, but with loads of ph2 bits? Its just the comment you said about you got marks by replacing them with narrower ones. Hasn't yours got the ph2 strips?

Happens with my 1.4 16v Alize 99 X reg. Took it to Renspec in Poole for a diagnostic check but everything was ok on their print out. Don't know what causes it but it's bloody anoying! Also the idle seems to fluctuate more.

Apparantly with plasmas you can more the line to the top of the screen so it isn't really noticable. Not sure how though as mines an LCD. Have you still got the manual? The guy in Comet was telling me about this function with Plasmas when we were after our HD telly.

Wont fail the MOT as long as you have the break light in the tail lights. Sounds similar to mine, mine was bonded on at a bodyshop and sprayed. It was the Olympian renault body shop and they charged £100 to fit and spray. I wouldn't drill holes unless your gonna fill them after.

Agree with Rich, if your gonna keep it for a few years have the respray!

You can get sticky stuff remover (it is actually called this) from Robert Dyas or somewhere like that. It is made from natural fruit juice and it seems to remove this sort of stuff, never used it on paintwork though so best off testing a hidden area.

I've read on here many times that its not a good idea to lower more than 35-40 without uprating your shocks. If you do you are putting added strain on the shocks and you'll need to replace them soon anyway. I was looking into it, springs £60-£80, full suspension kit would have been around...

Thanks matteh, Not sure now!!! I like the black, but I think that if the gun metal was darker ie anthracite grey. I think the grey one above is too similar to the original.
