they go into the strut mount, bolts are better but for the mean time ive just got the tapers in. its pretty solid and i gave it a good old shake and it didnt budge.
as i said bolts or welding are better but ive found that the tapers work for me :D
dan ive just seen the pic of your motor from the fcs entry pics that they took
:D they have put them up on the urban image site now
i think there are 3 pics of yours driving in
bolts would require you getting to the inside of the strut mounts so it might require you to drop the struts so you could get a hand in there
at the moment my strut brace is held with self tapers! for the usage my car gets i feel that this is satisfactory as i only do road driving and not...
u need to drill 4 holes (2 on each strut mount) then use either the self tapers that come with the struts or use bolts for a more secure hold.
look at demon tweeks, k-tecs websites for coloured, carbon or polished struts
ive got an omp brace which does the job nicely
:D
i saw the guy working on a black rs two cars down from me!
he did a cracking job and provided me with some entertainment while i ate my tuna baguette :D
have you got any subs etc in the boot?
a fezzy near me did his lowering before adding his ice and now it drives round with a slammed arse and nose in the air lol
